Guri Shkodra is the Country Manager for the Western Balkans at NOTUS Energy, a German-based renewable energy company. He is a passionate renewable energy professional, civil society activist, and a recognized local hero for his service to the community in the post-war period in Kosovo.
For over a decade, Guri has been engaged in civil society networking initiatives, regional development cooperation, and higher education reform, working with a range of local and international organizations. In the last ten years, he has specialized in strategic communications, supporting a broad portfolio of high-risk clients – particularly in the energy sector.
Following his role as a communications consultant and spokesperson for Kosovo’s electricity distribution operator, Guri co-developed Kosovo’s largest renewable energy project: a 105-megawatt wind power plant.
Beyond his professional work, Guri is also an artist. He plays guitar for Gillespie, a highly influential band in Kosovo’s underground music scene.
