Pedja Predin is the General Partner and Co-Founder of Fifth Quarter Ventures (5QV), an early-stage venture capital fund dedicated to empowering startups in the Western Balkans, particularly Serbia and Croatia. With over 12 years of experience in venture capital investing, corporate strategy, business development, and global expansion, Pedja brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem.
Before establishing 5QV, Pedja held significant roles in prominent organizations. He served as an Investment Professional at SC Ventures, where he honed his skills in identifying and nurturing high-potential startups. His tenure at Gelato, a Norwegian unicorn company, saw him in various leadership positions, including Head of Global Expansion, China Country Manager, and Head of Logistics. Additionally, Pedja contributed to Microsoft’s Central and Eastern Europe operations as a Business Manager, and earlier in his career, he was involved in research and recruitment at Egon Zehnder in New York.
Pedja’s academic credentials include an MBA from INSEAD in France and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from St. Francis College in New York. Beyond his professional endeavors, he is actively engaged in the startup community across Southeast Europe, offering mentorship, coaching, and angel investments to budding entrepreneurs.
