Session: Renewable and Green – A Transformed and Automated Growth Ecosystem

My career began as the CFO of a mid-sized IT company, where I later became CEO—a role I held for nearly 12 years.

During this time, I focused primarily on innovation, business development, and shaping the corporate culture.
One of the company’s most notable achievements under my leadership was sustaining double-digit growth in a highly competitive market. At the same time, we significantly improved customer satisfaction, as measured by the Net Promoter Score (NPS), as well as employee satisfaction—ultimately reducing employee turnover to just 1%.

After my corporate career, I began looking for new challenges outside the traditional business environment and found them at DEVINN.

DEVINN is a unique challenge for me—just as unique as the company itself.
We are a family-owned Czech company and a key integrator of hydrogen systems in the energy and transportation sectors. It also develops and sells its own products, including the H2BASE hydrogen generator, the H2PORT mobile hydrogen refueling unit, and several others.

Among DEVINN’s recent successes is its collaboration on the development of the first Czech heavy-duty hydrogen-powered Tatra truck.

I currently serve as COO at DEVINN, overseeing finance, HR, sales, and business development. My personal goal is to expand DEVINN’s activities within the Western Balkans.
As a business developer, I draw heavily on my financial background and focus on green—but also economically sustainable—solutions.
I see strong potential in the Balkans, where the rise in renewable energy production presents both opportunities and challenges. While this growth provides access to cleaner and more affordable energy, it also creates increasing demands for energy storage, grid balancing, and system flexibility.
Hydrogen energy storage not only addresses these challenges but also lays the groundwork for a broader hydrogen economy.

The expertise DEVINN has developed in the Czech Republic can therefore be highly relevant and beneficial in the Balkans.
This region is also close to me personally. I’ve been traveling across the Western Balkans since 2006, and over the years I’ve built deep friendships and many fond memories.

I see my role at DEVINN as an opportunity to give back to a region that has given me so much.
