Vlora Avdiu Burani is a Project Analyst at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), where she plays a key role in designing and managing private sector development programs, with a focus on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), digital innovation, and entrepreneurship across the Western Balkans.
With over a decade of experience in international development, Vlora has led and coordinated numerous advisory projects aimed at improving SME competitiveness, enhancing market access, and promoting sustainable economic growth. Her work emphasizes regional cooperation, inclusion, and the empowerment of women and youth in business.
At Balkonnect Festival 2025, Vlora will share her insights into EBRD’s strategic approach to supporting the private sector through finance, advisory, and innovation – highlighting how collaborative ecosystems can drive forward resilient and inclusive economies in the Western Balkans.
